About Rob McGuirt
Born and raised in Charlotte, I am a rare native of the Queen City. Married to Dawn for twenty-six years, we are the proud parents of three daughters, Meredith (married to Justin), Alyssa (married to Joseph), and Blair. We are a close knit family, are active in our church, and enjoy vacation time together at the Carolina beaches and mountains.
My real estate career began in 1999 with Prudential Carolinas Realty, after spending twelve years with Office Environments, Inc. I was privileged to become one of Prudential's Relocation Specialists early in my career, assisting families moving to the Charlotte area with major firms like TIAA-CREF, Wachovia, VISA, IBM, Keebler, Piedmont Natural Gas, Duke Energy, Bank of America, CTC Communications, and Corning. These early opportunities were the catalyst for a successful start in real estate, and ongoing opportunities to serve those referred by past clients.
After six years with Prudential Carolinas, I moved to RE/MAX Signature Properties, where I was mentored by one of the area's most experienced and successful brokers. I joined the national Star Power Network of top producing Realtors, gaining valuable insight from industry veterans. I went on to earn the Certified Residential Specialist and Accredited Buyer Representative designations from the National Association of Realtors.
In 2008, I joined RE/MAX Executive Realty, the largest RE/MAX franchise in the Carolinas. I enjoyed continued growth, and in 2009, I earned the Certified Distressed Property Designation, to better assist clients with purchasing and selling short sale and foreclosure properties.
In October of 2009, in an effort to better serve my clients and to deliver more value to them, I opened Charlotte Select Properties LLC as Broker / Owner. Charlotte Select Properties is a full service real estate firm, specializing in residential real estate sales and marketing. I offer personalized assistance, the latest Internet marketing and technology, attention to client needs and transaction details, open communication, and flexible fees.
I have built a successful real estate practice in an industry that has a very high dropout rate. I attribute my success to being a lifelong learner, listening carefully, giving value first, and offering straightforward advice that leads to desired results. My goal is to deliver a seamless, pleasant experience each step of the way, resulting in a referral driven business.
